These questions have haunted and enlightened metrologists from past to present including the pioneers of the subject, John Michell and John Neal. Adam Tetlow is an artist, writer and teacher exploring the intersection between art, mathematics and ancient thought. He studied with Keith Critchlow at the Princes School of Traditional Arts, and has spent the last seven years working closely with the worlds leading authority on ancient metrology, John Neal, who recently passed away. He is author of Celtic Pattern and contributor to Quadrivium, Trivium and Designa from Wooden Books. He teaches traditional geometry with the PSTA and also at https://sacredartofgeometry.com in Sussex.
