Hugh Evans is the author of ‘The Origin of the Zodiac’ (⁠www.originofthezodiac.com⁠) and has rediscovered a stunning landscape ‘Star Map’ in Gwynedd, North Wales. The features on the ground actually determined the choice of stars for the constellations in the heavens above, echoing the discovery of the Glastonbury Zodiac and others that have been discovered.

Hugh Newman interviews Evans about his research, his hieroglyph interpretation and language translation which helped identify all the features of the present zodiac and circumpolar constellations across the land features of Gwynedd. This information is presented in maps of the ground and star maps correlated with the same in the night sky above. The myths are explained and retranslated, as are the landmarks and the corresponding astrological icons associated with each of the signs of the zodiac, centred around the sacred Mountain of Cadair Idris.
